Our Founder

Bushra Ismail is a dynamic Publicist and the Founder of Confiance, which is the chosen PR Partner for some of India’s most renowned brands including The Quorum Club, Lenskart, Mukunda Foods, JetSetGo, CashKaro, Leo Capital, Sprih, Ladies Who Lead, Homage Advisors, Transition VC, Bureau ID, PlanetSpark, ProcMart, and Khyaal, among others. Listed entities which have partnered with Confiance so far include ProcMart (part of IndiaMART), TIL Limited, and Just Herbs (acquired and run by Marico), to name a few. Aside from enjoying a diverse clientele from all over India, Confiance also has clients based out of Singapore, UAE and USA. Additionally, the agency has been the official Communications Partner for Turkiye Tourism in India for the past 4 years.

With 17 years of experience across Journalism, Comms and Public Relations, Bushra has bagged several accolades & awards during her long spanning career. She was named in Reputation Today’s list of 40Under40 2019, E4M’s 40Under40 Batch of 2019 and awarded CEO of the Year at E4M’s Women Achievers Awards in 2020. She has also been covered by Impact Magazine as one among India’s Top 50 Women Professionals in the field of Communications and was most recently awarded with SheAwards 2024, by Agency Reporter.

Bushra comes with a demonstrated history of reputation building for brands from the ground up and giving them the desired image makeover. Skilled in Strategy, Campaigns, Crisis Management, Media Relations, and Leadership, she helms strategic Communications. Bushra also founded a Content Agency called Contellectual a few years ago, which is the dedicated arm of Confiance for everything Content. Being a solo founder successfully running two agencies, she firmly believes in the merits of hard work, honesty and resilience.
